http://www.skype.com:  This program is used to send text, phone calls and video calls to other skype users for free. It also allows you to make local and long distant calls for a reasonable price.

http://Ning.comA site where you can create your own networking site. It's really cool because you can limit the features to exactly what you want to use and limit the members to only your students, or open it to the world!
