What is research?

Research is a way of analyzing, investigating, and collecting information in order to gain knowledge, find the resolution of a problem, or to gain a greater understanding of a phenomenon.

• www.googlescholar.com - Search for scholarly literature, such as journals, peered- reviewed papers, abtracts, and articles.

• http://www.askkids.com/- Ask.com's equivalent exclusively for young children ages 6 to 12. Children can explore how plants grow and visit the habitats of many animals.

• http://www.dogpile.com/- Search engine that puts all the leading search engines together for a quicker result.    

• www.dipity.com - A website that allows students to view current events and follow what is taking place. They can also create timelines to share with others.
