Classtools.net is a webpage that provides a number of interactive academic activities.  Classtools.net has different activities for all areas of curriculum.  For this Instructional Plan we will be focusing on the Fakebook Activity.  The same lesson could be done with Facebook itself, but due to the restrictions of some counties when it comes to internet access of students, Facebook is not always a usable option. On the Fakebook startup guide you will find detailed instructions as to how to create your own Fakebook page.

Fakebook can be used across an array of subject areas and topics. Here are just a few examples of how you can use Fakebook in your classroom.

Language Arts: Students could crate a Fakebook page for different novels, as a book report, characterization, genres, figurative language, poetry, plays, grammar, types of writing, etc.

Math: Students could create a Fakebook page for different influential mathematicians, math formulas, or create math how to guides.

Science:  Students could crate a Fakebook page for theories, famous scientist, different areas of science such as biology, anatomy, chemistry, etc., different species of animals, types of weather, etc.

Social Studies:  Students could crate a Fakebook page for historical figures, Wars, Reformation, Civil Rights, Religion, Geography, any area of the Social Studies curriculum could be used to create a Fakebook page.

Those were only a few ways that you can you Fakebook with your students.
