Additional Information for READ 6265 Students

Page history last edited by Jessica Miller 8 years, 10 months ago

READ 6265 teams will take responsibility for editing two pages. Teams will add any resources as needed but also edit the pages for consistency so that there is a fairly uniform look throughout the wiki (similar fonts, headings, style). Here are the Team assignments:

TEAM  MEMBERS  PAGE ASSIGNMENTS
Team 1  Nicole, Audrey, Kelly  Researching, Exploring
Team 2  Lorna, Danielle, Kizzy  Creating, Lesson Plans
Team 3  Lauren, Chris  Communicating, Research and Scholarship
Team 4  Jessica M., Diedra  Collaborating, Front Page
Team 5  Stephanie, Jessica H.   Sharing, Other Resources

Expectations

Here is what is expected of each READ 6265 team and/or individual in fulfillment of the Multiliteracies Toolkit Assignment and Multiliteracies Instructional Plan:

Toolkit (this wiki)

  • Each team will revise/edit/curate its wiki pages here. That is, your team will review the ideas posted to that page and choose those resources and tools that fit with the category. You can add others and remove that your team does not see as a good fit to the page. Each page should have 6 to 8 tools or resources on it. More is okay.
  • Each individual 6265 student should find one article to upload and post on the Research and Scholarship page. You should provide a description of the article and tell readers how it may be useful to educators. The articles should address themes of multiliteracies--technology in the service of teaching and learning, diverse kinds of texts, or addressing culture and diversity.
  • Individual students OR pairs of students OR the entire team working together should create and/or post their Instructional Plan on the Lesson Plans page. The easiest way to do this is to create the plan as a PBWorks page and link it directly to that page.
  • Optional but desired. Post links to other kinds of resources that don't fit in one of the other sections to the Other Resources page.
